Diagnostic Examinations

Students who have been admitted to the master’s degree program must take diagnostic examinations in musicianship and, in performance and music education, the area of major concentration. These examinations, taken prior to initial enrollment, will be used to identify areas where additional emphasis may be suggested through self-study or choice of electives.
