The Master of Arts in Writing program offers advanced course work in the following major concentration areas: technical and professional writing, literary writing, and writing theory and pedagogy. Students apply to the program at large and, upon admission, select one of the three concentration areas. The program offers sufficient flexibility for students to switch from one concentration to another, to begin their studies undecided about concentration, or to fulfill requirements in two concentration areas.
