Known for its innovative programs, the School of Accountancy and MIS has been a major source of graduates for professional accountancy and management information systems careers in public accounting, business and industry and the public sector. The School is a member of the Federation of Schools of Accountancy and has one of the largest accounting programs in the United States.  The College of Commerce is licensed by the State of Illinois (#158-000721) as a Registered Public Accountant Continuing Professional Education Sponsor. DISTINGUISHED PROFESSORSHIP OF ACCOUNTANCY
      Through the generosity of the alumni and friends at Deloitte & Touche this named chair was established in 1988 and is held by Professor John McEnroe in recognition of his superior teaching and leadership in accounting education at DePaul University.
