Objectives of the M.Acc are to provide an understanding of the major technical, conceptual, and research issues in accounting through advanced study in the field of accounting and related disciplines; an understanding of the ethical and legal considerations of the accounting profession and of the professional judgment and independent attitude necessary to deal objectively with these considerations; and a broad education in the graduate business disciplines in order to provide the communication and management skills necessary to succeed in a highly competitive environment.
