Online Placement Testing

All new undergraduate students are required to complete placement tests in Math, Writing and Modern Languages. These placement tests ensure you are registered in a course that best builds on your current skills so that you can succeed in your studies at DePaul.

Online Placement Tests are not taken to earn credit, but are used to provide course placement for entering freshman and transfer students. Placement tests at DePaul are offered in the areas of: Writing, Mathematics, and Modern Languages (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish).
