DePaul University complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), which affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.
Personal privacy settings for Alumni remain on file based on the preferences setup with the University at the time the student completed their degree. Alumni who graduated with the preference to have their personal directory information restricted will not be released to honor societies, dean's lists, graduation announcements and will not be able to have enrollment and/or gradutation/degree verificaitons peformed. Alumni wishing to request an update to their FERPA Preferences must complete an Alumni FERPA Preference Update Request.
