When will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas are requested immediately after a degree has been posted and will be mailed to the address you stipulated in Campus Connection.  The processing time for diplomas is approximately 2 weeks from the date of conferral, but can vary during periods of high volume.

 

I have not received my diploma.  Can I request a new diploma to be sent?

In the case that a diploma is not delivered, a new diploma can be requested using the form on the Diplomas webpage.  Please indicate that the original diploma was never received and the processing fee will be waived.

 

My diploma was damaged in the mail.  Can I request a new diploma?

In the case that a diploma was damaged during delivery, the student will need to return the diploma to one of the DePaul Central location and fill out a diploma request form from the Diplomas webpage.  The processing fee will be waived.

 

I have lost my diploma.  Can I request a duplicate diploma?

To request a duplicate diploma, the student will need to fill out a diploma request form from the Diplomas webpage.  A processing fee will be assessed and the diploma will be mailed via UPS to the address indicated on the form.

 

Can I change the name on my diploma?

In order to change the name on a diploma, the student must first request an official name change.  Once the change has been completed, the student must return the original diploma and complete a new diploma request.  The processing fee will be assessed, as the original diploma was printed correctly.

 

Will my major, minor or honors appear on my diploma?

The student’s major and/or minor will not appear on your diploma.  Diplomas will show the conferral date, degree earned, college (except SNL) and honors.  The student’s name will appear as indicated when they apply for degree conferral.
